I want to help anyone who is looking to improve their pregfur drawings or just drawing in general. I want to make shorthand tutorials or guides about how to improve specific parts of pregnancy or drawings. What do you struggle with? Belly shapes? Those darn hands? Maybe you struggle with creating a mood or character moments? What can I help you with?
I don't know everything, but what I'll absolutely share what I know.
I'm going to compile a list of the most common requests and then make a little tutorial :3

I'm still very much a beginner but I'd love to learn how to draw shapes and sizes better!
And with any guide or tutorial, you should show examples of what NOT to do aswell.
An example that comes to mind is say like. how to connect the belly to the hips and torso.
- Portioning the body segments correctly to accommodate pregnancy (ie, where hips meet butt meet belly etc), and
- How to make the belly stand out or not appear so flat on a character. Like it's actually there interacting with the rest of the body around it rather than just tacked on.
What are the most common steps you take to color one?
What are some common tactics you use to understand volume in your sketching phase?
just a few off the top of my head
i think belly tutorial will be great and colour too, i love your shading and colour pattern!!! o:
Thank you for doing this!
non-human faces/head shapes are what I typically struggle with most.
1) How do you draw limbs in a foreshorten position? And make it look natural?
2) I have trouble picking what size digital canvas to use and dpi. I am not sure if I am zooming in too much or not enough. Or drawing too big or too small. Pointers?
3) For pregnant bellies. How do you pick a size to show a belly with one baby in there? What about more than one? Same for going through the months? And how gravity affects bellies to hang.
4) How to draw line-art that looks more natural and less stiff?
- One of the hardest references / resources to find is month by month progression on the same body in a similar pose, so you can actually see the differences in development as the bulge sits on the body.
- The way breasts grow and shift on the body in response to both the belly growth, and lactation is also a great suggestion I see below.
- Perhaps even a breast comparison that shows them empty vs full of milk.
- Finally I would also second Lime Juice's third point, with calculating multiples vs single pregnancy.
As far as more generalized drawing, I feel like there are plenty of tutorials for more standard anatomy problems floating around, that being said if you feel like you have a unique perspective to offer there by all means go for it!
But I do think Pregnancy related tutorials are a place you would really shine and have good insight in since it's a much more niche topic that could definitely use some tutorials.
Very kind of you to lend a skilled hand to the community regardless of what you decide! And thank you for sharing your lovely work with us!
- hands/paws
- More dynamic poses
- breast physics
Thank you, Tiggy.
