Well that was a surprise! Gotta message from our rural post office saying our Amazon package came in, and I was confused until I picked it up. I was fully expecting my new Seagate HHD... yes I mean HHD and not SSD... to show up a week later, but it showed up NOW, so anyway, old style of HHD might be slower to write/read but at least they last longer as boot drives compared to SSD.
I have Minty Cinnamon Linux already installed, going through the various update processes, and have both GIMP and Krita installed already... both of which can read and modify photoshop file formats!
All I need to do now is dive back into my archive drive, and hunt down my Vess and Yuki files so I can rework it a bit and use this as a test for both my Huion and new Seagate Linux Boot. =D
Side note: Again how is it that Linux has basic graphics tablet drivers built in, while Windows doesn't? Ya'd think with all the gigs of files windows has, there would be SOME kind of tablet support other than Microsoft Pen stuff.... right? Nnnnope, you know the schpeel... just more reason to milk the user... "You must buy a Microsoft Pen Tablet from us!!!!"
Pffff more reason why I'm so happy to ditch MS... No more MS-bull schisses!! :P

Meanwhile, the official Wacom driver for Windows dropped support for it before the pandemic. I'm using an old driver from 2012, and even that has some issues. Despite all the hoopla about making a pen/touch interface work on Windows8, drawing tablet support on Windows is still awful.
I'd like to make the permanent switch to Linux by the end of the year, but... ugh... I've been trying to do this for about 18 years and something always goes wrong the keeps me limping back to Windows. Mint is okay on first install, but upgrades have been a horrible PITA. I dunno. I guess I'll settle for a dual-boot system.
I have a Wacom Intuos I need to attach to the new(ish) box. Where did you get the 2012 driver, is it still on Wacom's site or has everything been "Improved"? (ie: enshitified.)
Here's the driver I'm using for Win7 x64: https://www.ninechime.com/Temp/Waco.....blet_615-3.zip
I don't know if that driver works for Win10, but it's worth a try. The main issue I've had with using XP drivers with newer versions of Windows has to do with the signing certificates. If that nonsense is bypassed, often XP drivers work with Win7, and I believe many Win7 drivers work with Win10. I remember when Microsoft dropped support for my Internet Keyboard Pro and explicitly blacklisted the installer from working under Win7. I just hacked the .INI file with a product code for the Internet Keyboard (not the pro model) and then the installer worked and all my keyboard features worked flawlessly. Ugh. Politics ruins everything!
Yeah WHY WOULD ANYONE want backwards compatibility or anything except the bleeding edge AI infused idiocies.
