Blender is different

I was wondering why my recent posting of Yuki looked off, but thanks to some searching with duck-go, and goog, I found out that unlike SketchUp, Blender will get fussy about geometry in close proximity unless the objects are merged into a single grouping. My Yuki was crafted in SketchUp using cone components, and somewhere in the process of being imported into Blender, the distinction of such entities was lost.
So basically Blender was treating clone objects like normal objects... albeit very close to each other... which causes texture fighting.
Now that I understand the differences in which blender and sketchup treat clone objects, I can now merge such things and hopefully get rid of that awful looking overly dark shading between body parts.

I do appreciate the newer UV Tools and all!
