This past week, the US admin finally let FEMA administer help to our area, and I was one of the first to apply. Yesterday, the inspector came in, fifteen minute tour and Q&A of what happened and damages, and he left. No problem.

A few hours ago, I got a notification of them approving enough to pay for my bed, cleaning the central AC, fixing the garage door, and replacing assorted items that got damaged with the flood. So we're a happy moosie right now. ^_^
