I should take advantage of FA's journal feature! The areas we have to write long-form opinions on the internet are becoming increasingly sparse, or otherwise owned by right-wing technocrats in order to spread misinformation and/or scrape personal data for MLM AI training.
FA is important. It provides a pillar of support for a subset of folks who heavily overlap with the queer community. As many of you probably know, the queer community is now a major target of erasure for the Trump Administration, particularly transgender people. Our community will outlast them, but they will cause a lot of damage before they're forced from office.
Supporting your friends in this community, supporting furry artists, these are subversive acts in the face of a fascistic government. If we work together and are careful, we can help each other avoid the worst of the fallout from this incompetent American government.
Pour one out for Trump supporters. So long as we stick together, we will be fine.

These fascist fucks in power right now in the US and abroad will never succeed in erasing us entirely, but it's going to be a hard time for us for a while.
Don't just keep an eye on what is happening in Washington D.C.
- First and foremost, look after your friends, in person and online.
- Then, keep an eye on what new things local and state officials are passing. Don't spend too much time on the news, but don't put your head in the sand.
- If you make art, KEEP MAKING IT. Art is critical at any time, but especially times like these.
And once we're on the other side of this, however long that takes, we keep up the work of building and maintaining our communities.
Above all else, as you said, STICK TOGETHER.
