So what exactly is up with the engine and the septic?

Looks like the drain-field/leech-field is shot. Got to replace it.

As for the truck; OD/Band is malfunctioning, but we can turn it off so than it's not a problem. However, we're still getting miss-fires on piston 2 + 4 (6 cylinder) occasionally, Bank 1+2 running lean. Could be a head gasket, could be O2 sensors, could be vacuum leak, transmission seems to be going bad too. Every auto repair shop has said 11K or so to fix, or just out-right refused to take the job. I'm replacing what I can, but limited knowledge/skills and tools :/

did you check if the wires to the spark plugs were good? Could be faulty and causing misfires

All the wires and spark plugs were brand new :<

Mmmhmmm. Spent a chunk of Saturday trying to use a Cheater Bar and wrench on it, and a chunk of Sunday under it with a torch and penetrating oil trying to un-fuse it. Nothing. So had to save up, get the second O2 sensor, and I gotta HOPE some auto shop within a 40 minute drive will attempt it :(

Got it going into another shop this Thursday. Hopefully they can fix it :(

Unfortunately the only thing they can do is replace the engine. $8K for everything. :(

so long as the engine was fine prior to its placement, it should be alright. Might want to get a good thorough look before installation just in case (or to deal with pesky maintenance that would otherwise SUCK ASS to do when installed)
