Heyo Everyone!
Wanted to jump in for a second to fill you all in on a few things that have been going on, a few future plans I have, and all that good jazz!
Let's start of with some fun news first!
If you follow me on Bsky (and you should), then you'd already know this, buuuut...
🌈I'M GOING TO FURALITY!🌈
I've never been to a Fur con before, and Blu has been telling me all about the cool shit they do at the event!
We both wanted to go last year, but the theme didn't seem all that interesting to me, and I still had no VR model that I felt super comfortable.
But now, I know how to use Substance Painter, I've saved up to go, and the Meowper (Spots version) was perfect for my Sona Lav!
So you'll see me as VDragonArts on VRChat, I'll be the chubby lavender cheetah with the hoodie! XD
(I won't be taking random friend requests, so don't ask.)
Another exciting thing is actually something I've been silently working on for the last few months now.
I'm making some Ko-Fi tiers, and a Discord to go with them!
IT'S NOT AVAILIBLE YET THO!
The only Ko-Fi tier available at the moment is just my tipping tier. ($1 a month with no discord access. Literally just there incase you just wanna toss a dollar my way for no reason every month.)
I'm still waiting for the chance to go through it with some folks that I trust who can help me make sure things are set up before i start adding shit. I still have no idea how bots work exactly and what bots to use. (I'm pretty tech illiterate when it comes to discord, and I really don't wanna fuck this up. Especially since it will be used for Ko-Fi Supporters.)
Please be patient with me, as this still has me scared out of my wits, so it will take some time to set up.
But, I'm still gunna work hard and try to make this a thing!
And now for the Life and Commission stuff!
Gunna be real with you guys...it's been rough. (And again, if you follow me on Bsky, you'd know a little about what I mean already.)
Between my mom being in the hospital, the country falling apart, jobs being harder and harder to get, and money getting tighter....
I haven't been doing too great. I'm still working on the coms I have, but it's been slow.
In the meantime, I'm sure you guys have seen my postings for adopts and YCH's a lot lately, along with all my new bases.
And you've probably also seen the reminders for those too.
Nothing has been selling honestly. And the little that has been selling, is barely enough to make a dent in my monthly payments.
And I'm not blaming anyone here. Money has sucked for EVERYONE HERE! NOT JUST ME!
(Brother, you know it's bad when you start seeing the Popufur artists in this community having a rough time selling anything and keep having to post reminders!)
But because I do still need to pay bills, and art just isn't doing that as well as it did for me last year when I was fired.
I'm having to go back to the one place I hate most...my old job...
Walmart.
Laugh if you must, but I NEED to pay bills. And until things change here...I can't relay on this place to help anymore.
I've put in my application, luckily this is at a different location then the POS one I worked at prior and it's much much closer.
I'm hoping that with the amount of time I've worked there and the few friends i have at this store, I'll get back in no problem.
If not...then there is always a plan B.....Onlyfans! XD (JK)
Jokes aside, I still plan on working on art for now.
Pride YCH's are still up, all my other YCH's and adopts are still up.
I still have coms I'm chipping away at and will keep doing so.
But, it's getting hard, really hard. And like I said before, if something doesn't change, if this "art economy" doesn't fix itself soon..
I can't stay. I'll still create, I'm an artist after all. It just...won't be a lot. Or very often
Anyway, sorry if this felt like a "Trauma Dump" or a "Moping an Bitching" post.
But I feel like if I can't be honest and open with my followers, then why even try to make a community at all.
And because I've mentioned it multiple times already in this post.

I'm sorry to hear things are so tough! I know the feeling, it has definitely been slower. Unfortunately I've seen a LOT of commissioners explaining how they've paid artists and then they've been ghosted, so I think it's compounding issues. D:
