I have never done this and I could really use help right now
4 months ago
My name is Bryan StuntTiger Smith. By the end of this month, I will be moving back to Ca. I have never done this before and rarely asked people for help. This time I am in desperate need of people from people. I have a lot of stuff that I accumulated over the years, and I just cannot get rid of everything and start all over again. I did that 8 years ago when I moved from New York to Anchorage Alaska, and it was heart breaking leaving a lot of my stuff behind only to be tossed by somebody. I also lost a real nice stunt airbag that I had. I am looking into renting a U-box pod from U-Haul. It is going to cost me around $3,500 to rent the pod and move all my stuff into it so that they can ship it to Ca. I have a lot of stuff for my cats like a cat tree that they both love relaxing in and a bunch of blankets that they love to sleep on when it is cold. I also do not want to get rid of the stunt airbags that I have for they did cost me a bit to have made and shipped to me. I have asked my family for help, but they are not willing to help. They just keep telling me to pack a bag and get on a plane. I will also be bringing my 2 cats with me to Ca, and I just cannot part with them. Mojo the black cat has saved my life more than once when I had depression and he would snuggle up with me in bed meowing like if he were saying everything was going to be alright. Some of the bills I still have is taking the cats to the vet to get their shots updated and a clean bill of health before I can take them on the plane.

sounds like a whirlwhind move, another option, not sure if it'll work for you is to buy a 20 foot connex, load it up and have it shipped freight to where you are going, Alaska sounds a lot more fun than California.

OP
Right now I am paying $1,800 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. That does not include eletric, internet, water. My family said I could stay at my grandfathers old house that he built himself. I would only have to pay the property tax ($90) and homeowners insurance ($200) so a total of about $300 a month. I cannot really pass that up. Also I have a very good chance at getting a better paying job working at a casino resort as lead security supervisor.
