It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you guys that as of recently, someone has apparently been impersonating me on DeviantArt, and been scamming about $20k from lots of unassuming users by sending them suspicious links that, when clicked, hack their accounts and let the hackers send Core (a paid DeviantArt account upgrade that's mainly used by professional artists) gift plans to other unassuming users.

I have gotten alerted on this yesterday by a DA user who had recently gotten hacked themself because of a message from my impersonator with one of those suspicious links, and last night, after I had started to contact one of DA's staff, they have temporarily suspended my account in order to gradually work on finding my impersonator, bringing me and my DA account back to safety, and help the scammed users get their money back, which has been a very difficult process so far, and even made me pull an unwanted all-nighter last night, to the point where I had no chance to go to bed until the literal start of today.

Could you all please keep me in your thoughts in the meantime while I work through all of this? I'd highly appreciate it. 💛
