Nova" I though we've be stopping by there house actually" Kathy" nicole said meeting them here would be alot faster and it is close to there home anyway" Melantha" thank you all for having us come along " Kiara" is okay melantha , its just cool you like hanging out with us" Melantha" well why wouldn't I? " Kiara" well I guess certain interests wouldn't a line in a way > >" Rabbi" its all good everyone thing that way , but thats why you have to read a book in order to understand it " Nova" uh-huh ( it would be nice if I knew how to "start" reading the book ) at that moment a cody, data, nicole and velvet were coming Kathy" okay you two we have company" Melantha"*changing her appearance as did rabbi which wasn't much of a change* " Velvet" the party is already here " Nicole" hi kathy, I had a feeling you'd be first XD " Kathy" from what kiara told me about cody working tirelessly I knew this was something important " Kiara" yeah mister sleepless nights and running of caffeine-laced coco T T crossing her arms as she glared at cody

Nicole" he was called for some "work" for elise " Kathy" I thought he retired" Nicole" not fully, but come on will talk more once the kids are set up" ( Shingggg!) suddenly a warp ring opened up behind them and it was surge and kit while in the distance sonia and manic came as well Kathy" and I think thats everyone xD "Surge" hey everyone, what no snow leopard?" walking inside the base nicole wasted no time getting the machine powered up as one by one everyone entered the digital nano space



Ralph" we're in the matrix! " Madeline" rolling her eyes Nicole" close enough~ now I will let data and cody take it from here~ Data" huh..oh! right! yeah um alright everyone after weeks of work we finally have ourselves our own customary go karts! as suddenly a set of five kart s appeared each one looking designed and coded for specific people , like kiara, nova, cody, midnight, and data Data" these are the physical karts I've spent days designing they will work all the same in here" Ralph" I think there are more races then there are karts foxy unless you plan on having us carpool " Cody" don't worry thats why we're here as nicole started using the nanobytes to created copies that were different colors Surge" fucking nice...! as she jumped in one that matched her colors XD " Nicole" the nano karts will have the same specs as the real ones so there should be no worry of performance, and now I get to flex my muscles a bit today to give you kids a good time crackling her knuckles as suddenly a dashboard appeared in front of her as her and kathy herself were engulfed in a bubble and hovered in the air Kathy" o o whoa what the??" as the ground underneath everyone suddenly vanished as things turned into blank green canvass then suddenly bit by bit the sky turned to a brought blue, the valley were a beautiful green , as it looked like they were right on the out skirts of knothole forest a race track appeared under there feet with everyone getting there own race suits and helmets too, the karts were nicely placed on a starting line and ahead of them you were see a massive race course ahead of them



Kathy" oh wow.. nicole this looks so amazing how long have you been working on this" Nicole" well on and off, cody asked me if I could create a race track, and I asked was there something specific you wanted? and he said "not really, just be creative" so I was " Kathy" yeah I notice the race track going through island itself I see you took some creative liberties TwT " Nicole" at moments I got carried away so I just ran with it



everyone took there respective karts getting seated

Ralph" the only licensed vehicle I can drive without a licensed~ " Madeline" walking ot her kart Purge" mind if I make one tiny edition?" Madeline" what?" suddenly while no one noticed purge coated the car where along the face a row of sharp teeth emerged giving it more of a abyss vibe to it Madeline" ( yeah "tiny" ) ><; Manic" cool how did you do that!? " Madeline" uhh.. nicole showed me a edit tool that this one had "



at the same time khalon was getting his kart set but was having trouble with the helmet



Surge" having trouble pinky?" khalon" the latches got tangled* Surge" there not tangled you got it backwards helping him get the helmet right Kiara" heh thanks >///> " Surge" sure pinky no hard feelings when I win~ shutting the visor down on his face as she smirked khalon" yeah will see ! "

suddenly a nicole and kathy hovered down to the track

Nicole" alright everyone, this is going to work alittle different , your going to be racing on interconnecting tracks, each time to the track your on comes to an end that signals a new track and whoever crossed first wins that course who everyone wins out with the most points at the end wins, if you get turned around the kart will auto correct you back to the main road " Surge" ( short cuts? hell yeah! ) Nicole" as well as other surprises so keep your eyes open ^^ so with al l that being said safety first, have fun, and lets race" as everyone started there karts, as suddenly at the line you saw snowy holding the flag Kathy" is that snowy?! " Nicole" just a data snowy " as the number counted down snowy waved the flag evry everyone raced off, as we started off driving through forest of knothole leading into the city of mobotropolies



Kathy" oh this gonan be fun to see, but what were the surprises you put on the track?" Nicole" power ups and some area's have traps~ " Kathy" oh...wait traps?!" Nicole" nothing deathly jsut something to slow you down XD like I said I got little creative, plus I was able to push the nanobytes to the limit , this was really a good data test for me " Kathy" and all cause of the kids huh?" Nicole" it goes to show you how we all can learn from each other, young and old~ " Kathy" mhm..... you know shards said you've been enacting some audio drama's in private" Nicole" O///O w-well I wouldn't say... that I- was really" Kathy " girl girl its fine, the reason I ask is because would you interested in putting on a bit of a stage performance ~ <3 " Nicole" o o "







as the race just started to get off its ground, the first area was the city of new mobotroplies



some were focus on the race while others were takingin the location appeal



Nova" ( some moments its amazing to believe this is all a race course , some of these spots feel like your driving straight through the city plaze) * passing by key locations like the ring lake, uncle chucks diner and even acorn castle and the concert Colosseum , as the track had many wide spaces to over take and many of them were still getting use to the karts and using the first track to the do so, seeing that on the first drifting turn khalon ended up spinning out "



Khalon" >< ( who would have thought I'd have to drive with a gentle touch!) as he started up again as velvet and sonia passed him up



Velvet" ( looks like khalon is struggling as well, not like were doing any better and of course fire and forest princesses are leading the kart dashboards had a monitor of who's leading, and right now it was kiara, nova, and data (Shooowsh!) 1? suddenly without noticed she hit an item box and gained something that look like a frozen missile with prompt to fire, currently in front of her was a kit and further ahead was nova , so taking her shot she first the missile as it aimed straight for kit Kit" ?! getting alerted of the missile behind him he was sitting on time taking to be used what look like a ghost, as he used it , it make him transparent for a second as the missile passed through him and zeroed in on nova while at the last second it hit her freezing her kart in place instantly



Nova" O O... ><!! ( Zoom!) kit passed her Velvet" excuse me princess!! HA Ha HA" Nova" grrrr!! soon the ice wore off as knock double tapped the pedal giving herself a small upstart



Kathy" looks like there starting to get a bit heated~ " Nicole" well maybe when the next zone arrives they will have a chance to play catch up~ " looking upon a match reaching the outskirts fo the city , the ruins of robotropolies were part of the next course



while data and kiara were fighting for first surge was closing behind



Surge" ( nicole said there was traps and stuff on the track so where are there, no one is gonna close the gap at this rate ) T T suddenly surge noticed and off beaten path that had no road signs on it... what have I got to lose smashing through the barricade the road lead down a underground path way that was the tunnel system for the original knothole base after reaching a exit she was launched back out in the forest down a curved road to drift down , while easily maintaining her speed she over passed both data and kiara Kiara&Data" !?!" Surge" Later Nerrrrds! " Kiara" is that allowed" Data" unfortunately, yes but then again so is this as he activeda boost with sonic's spindash as a logo as blue lightening started to surge through his kart he got a massive speed boost quickly closing the distance between them

Manic" this is no good if I can't get head I'll never catch up DX as he hit a item box suddenly the image appeared to be a chaos emerald whats this do?" suddenly activating it the kart quickly turned golden and on its own his head was thrown back as the kart started flying on it own leaving a golden streak behind him flying ahead of move of the racers until hewas next adn next with khalon



Khalon" whoa!? what happened to you o o" Manic" I don't know..what did happen?? @w@"



Nicole" * looks like the kids are leaving the city and are now entering the ruins of a tyrant" Kathy" you should having these places as track was good we all kind of have not so good memories " Nicole" I know they aren't fun for us, but there landmarks of history for the kids, and its the past that builds our futures and they should see that as well " Kathy" well I suppose that's true" Nicole" besides I'm sure most of them are aren't paying that close attention anyway" Kathy" I'm sure some are, "

Kiara" ( talk about whiplash from bright and cheery to dark and dreary ) " as most were brushing it off as part of the scenery , surge and kit were not too keen to brush it off to simply " Surge" >< sigh ( just passing through, I honestly didn't think something from here would bother me ) as far as t ogo hearing robotnik's voice echo throughout the city quickly enough exiting out of the main part of the city they ended up in a valley that was more of a vacant battle ground that was easier on the psychic



Nicole" maybe I was little "too" good with the visuals " Kathy" well we weren't expecting trauma to effect the racers so will just block this secton out next time " Nicole" agreed "

back in the sol kingdom

snowfall was gnawing on a furry rod that resembled nova's tail end Sky" so how does he like the toy?" Blaze" well hes happy with it for now, I jsut hope he does not pull it out till its bald " Sky" better the toy then your tails " Blaze " looking at her tail end she sighed...much agreed " Sky" I wondered how the kids are doing with the go-karts" Blaze" I'm sure they are having fun" Sky" be nice if I could have joined them" Blaze" I think I remember you said you took an interest in it " Sky" yes but, you know it probably would be a little awkward with us and the kids involved" Blaze" well perhaps at time point it could be the adults races verses the kids racing " Sky" will talk to nicole about it I suppose "



suddenly one of the maid approached them placing a bowl of fruit on the coffee table for the both of them Sky" thank you " Maid" my pleasure bowing her head as she took her leave Blaze" we aren't too far away from kathy's birthday , we haven't talked much abut planning > >; " Sky" believe me, shes planning " Blaze" what do you mean?" Sky" remember off and on she mentioned about doing a reenactment of some of the high points from my book?" Blaze" your biography? " Sky" yes, only she wants to go a step further and incorporate some...musical elements to it" Blaze" suddenly her ears spiked for a moment a....musical? Sky" yes, " Blaze" and who is she going to have signing?" Sky" rolling his eyes from what she explained its not so much "singing" singing but more dialog that follows a rhythm" Blaze" ...so like talking along to a musical beat?" Sky" yes, so kathy gave me some music themes and asked me to write some dialog that was for key moments and I had to write something that matched up to the beats, " Blaze" was that hard?" Sky" depends , and on and off actually " Blaze" when have you had time, every time I saw you you've been stuck in the study or you've been with ja- o o... don't tell me" Sky" yes whatever your guess is, your probably right" Blaze" the nights you got up early for training..." Sky" was spending at least a good two to three hours on the script " Blaze" and the last couple of hours you were suppose to be back in bed?" Sky" I would dedicate to training " Blaze" thats why you haven't been as playful OR energetic AND tired you've been burning the candle at both ends! why didn't say anything" Sky" kathy wanted me to keep it a surprise Blaze" a surprise for who? I thought this was suppose to be something for her?! " Sky" easy! easy. I'm basically finished, and it wasn't as hard as you'd think, there was only two sections I honestly needed her help with but besides that I was able to finish out what she asked of me and the rest shes going to get alicia to do " Blaze" sighing heavily as she leaned back in the chair I suppose now shes going to ask some of us to audition for certain parts to play? " Sky" more or less > > " Blaze" groans this may be one of the things I "don't" like about kathy, she can be a little pushy when she gets inspired, to the point you can't say no to her " Sky" I wanted to make the script its my book, who else would you ask?" Blaze" I'm not saying jsut for this but sometimes even for parties ,events, even things for the kids, she will feel the need to be the captain of every ship and honestly if I say you burn the candle at both ends. well, her whole wax candle is in a fire place"



Sky*taking a piece of watermelon* well for what its worth I think we did good, she came to wiht this idea two months ago, she sectioned off part of my book -w- and asked me would it be possibly for me to make a script with certain music beats, I said I'll try and she kept me a list, marked for each high point in the story and well some of it just started to flow, " Blaze" only by the Goddess's blessings that your a writer T T" Sky" don't sound so bitter, the majority of it was between me sonic, sally, and the family, and kathy , myself and lein-da..- oh wow I forgot ,, I think the sections where I argued with lein-da were kind of my favs only because for the music she choose ,,,ha XD so I was invested in this , we did have some creative difference at moments then alicia got involved because we were butting heads about the music choices " Blaze" you arguing with kathy over a music choice?"



Sky" it was.. let me think...ahh with ash and sonic , I said given the music it should be a drill rap, but kathy said hates rap and drill rap to her is just arguing with music in the background which is isn't, she said shewould settle for a hip-hop but I said no drill would fit ash's character more because of the relationship they had at the time, plus the music was leaning more towards mina's style of music anyway so it would have been a nice contrast, then shes like " we have enough sections already with rap I don't want this to be a rap battle" and I said its not a rap battle, damn it! sighing as it went into a laughter as he held his head then alicia helped us reach a middle ground " Blaze" how so?" Sky" blending tracks, you one sing to one beat, and the others signs to different one but its still mixes smoothly so the music matches with the character in a way " Blaze" I see. so when shall we see the fruits of your labor?" Sky" shes going to be asking some of us for role calls, and she'll probably be knocking on your door soon" Blaze" I am... not a singer " Sky" neither am I, but don't worry she somehow makes things work out in ways shes wants "



Blaze" maybe getting some real professionals to work on it would be better" Sky" this is suppose to be a fun project for us not like something for the public she says if it was well... heh well gosh that be embarrassing (Voshh!) suddenly a note appeared on the table please... as he read through it.... Kaaaathhhhyyyyy Why! >< crushing the paper Blaze" wh- whats wrong? " Sky" grumbling as he head his head change in plans shes said , she is talking nicole now about being in the cast, and she was so over joyed with the idea, nicole is going to record our casting roles, and turn our little play into a theater production and with the help of the nanotics she can give movie quality" Blaze" won't that make it easier to make? " Sky" yes, but having said you don't think shes going to have this go public? for everyone to see?" Blaze" ... but your book is released to the public everyone knows it " Sky" I am not good on camera, I am not an actor DX, I don't want people see me on TV I'd rather darkfire take up the role as me if thats the case" Blaze" o o ......" Sky"......." Blaze" I think you doomed yourself" Sky" kathy! I wajssut joking I'll do it myself I'll do it myself! continuing along the race



as they exited through out the ruins of robotroplies Melantha had made herself present in the lead, with no where visibly present but a warp ring ahead of her she took the only route seen and through the portal was nothing by the sky on the other side as the it was just open sky as she started to fall, as others started to follow suit not as pleased to see themselves falling straight down into no where Sonia" Ahhh what the heck DX!? Kit" where's the track!?"



as each of them started to fall in a straight pathway with nothing around them it was clear it was the ruins of sky sanctuary and leading the pack was melantha as she landed on a piece of track landing into a drift with only kiara , and khalon picking up on the hints immedately khalon took advantage boosting through the air passing a good portion of the lot catching up heavily as ended up the top 3 along with melantha and kiara



Khalon" it kind of pays to be raised on a floating island sometimes xD landing into a drift then boosting off a boost panel onto the next platform, as the rest slowly started ot pick upon the hint and followed suit, while kathy and nicole still watched



Kathy" you had me worried for a second >w> seeing everyone just drop down into oblivion crossing her arms firmly Nicole" come on kathy you should know me better then that~ besides I can only imagine everyone's faces on that surprise, although melantha seems to be taking the courses with more stride then I imagined " Kathy" I noticed that too, I wonder why? :/ "



pretty soon the leap frogging came to an end as everyone wasa stable road for the moment



Rabbi" seeing his place was 6th >< ( its bad enough I'm lagging in our games back home , I can't fall short in the real thing too! ) suddenly kit was following up behind him until they were running along each other >w> hey water boy! " Kit" ??" Rabbi" being low tier in the pack is no fun, so lets help each other out , and I can move you to the top three? sound good " Kit" seeing on his dashboard surge was fighting with nova to keep third place keep surge in the top three and I'll help " Rabbi" fine, deal!"

as they came along a full on structure'd building it turned out to be the alter of the master emerald with in the island, while it wasa giant straight away with the emerald in the center , water was all around them and kit noticed boost panels along the walls , using his water he picked up rabbi's kart and tossing it along the wall with rabbi catching the hint and went int oa drift along the wall while kit used him to hang onto as they drifted along the wall to get ahead while the others saw them



Kiara" are you kidding me" Nova" that can't be allowed! DX " Rabbi" smirks all's fair in love and war * as he was holding to guided missiles this whole time and firing off three of them spaciously all of them targeted surge, kiara and nova landing them all stalled in the back just as kit and rabbi landed giving them the top three spaces along with melantha who was further ahead



Rabbi" ahahah ! perfect! XD " as he celebrated coming up next to him was kit who had a shadow over his eyes expressing his wasn't happy with surge taking the brunt of his attack Kit" I said she would stay in the top three " Rabbi" heh .. hey I didn't choose the targets okay? you can't pin that on me" Kit" as his eyes gave off a red glow then perhaps you should be "pinned" down launching was looked like a green energy ball as it hit him suddenly his kart became rooted into the track stopping him completely Rabbi" OH COME ON I HELPED YOU D'X " Kit" zipping passed him all's fair in love and war right? " leaving rabbi stalled for a moment surge and nova rushed passed rabbi just as he finally got back in the race he was caught between a placement struggle with kiara and khalon



Kathy" ow, that wasn't very nice ;w; " Nicole" I wonder was that to take the lead himself or was it only to help surge get back ahead" Kathy" I'm going to take a wild guess the latter ( not that I need to guess I can literally read everyone's thoughts ) " pretty soon there next location was mushroom hill on the island arriving back to a basic track, pulling up the rear was sonia sadly



Sonia" >< ( I get it, I'm not the best but that doesn't mean I deserve to last all the way through as she hit item box and on screen was a chaos emerald ?? what does this do?" activating it, "chaos control!" suddenly everyone froze in place regardless of where they were placed on the track be it in a turn or in the air

Melantha" the heck?! everyone saw on the screen a timer waiting to count down before they could move again



Nicole" this one kind of my favorite xD" Kathy"chaos control, that's something as they watched sonia quickly made her way to second, just as it ended she caught up to melantha the only thing saving her was that the momentum everyone had was kept Surge" this is starting to get a little much isn't it (Bing!) ?? surge noticed the item she got was pusheen pusheen? what he do"

activating pusheen he appeared in her then suddenly sat on her head o o... I don't need a hat!! >< then in that second her kart was moving faster like it was boosting consistently



Kathy" what does pusheen do?" Nicole" pusheen boosts your kart while slowing down the one in first specifically in random ways "



in that moment melantha suddenly had pusheen in her face



Melantha" !? suddenly pusheen glomps her face Ahhh! Pusheen! get off I can't see! ( Belphhh!)" as melantha started to swerve unsure whither to turn or not they were on t here way through another warp ring this time the karts landed on a beach and melantha ended up straight into the ocean ( Splash!) having kit pass her and surge not long taking her spot*



Surge" not what I was expecting but I'll take it as she quickly took first XD" Melantha" growls " Purge"... may I?" Melantha" ...do it" suddenly the mouth on her kart opened up as purge engulfed it as tendrils latched onto the ground pulling her out of the water as the kart began to walk like a giant spider trying to save there place melantha ended up dropping in front of kiara and them holding ont o4th the very least



Nicole" I don't think I had any items that can do that??" Kathy" >w>;; whos to say? maybe it was glitch she found shrugging her shoulders Nicole" unless you did something T T" Kathy" I "hate" spiders in case you forgot XP "



pretty soon the beach lead through the village of the sol kingdom and straight into the castle



Nova" are we driving through my castle now?! as the course ended up turning into a long spiral drift into the lower levels of the castle to the chamber of the sol emeralds leading to a dead end but as they reach it each of them was teleported into the acorn castle Sonia" now we're in my castle XD if it wasn't such a fight for first this would be a fun sight seeing tour " passing through the council hall and the chamber with the sword of acorn as they made there way back to the plaza of the city



Nicole" we're reaching the final part of the race ^^ " Kathy" this really was something xD and I wasn't expecting to see pusheen , maybe we should get our group to come and race too ^w^ " Nicole" I'm happy you love my creative work, although I did take "some" liberties with the design such as the castles for race reasons " Kathy" understandable but its no problem~ <3 " Nicole" now lets see who will take home the gold~ "





just as nicole said it was the home stretch for the racers



as they did a full loop around the acorn garden to the power ring lake in the forest leaving only a short distance left* it was coming down to manic and nova and kit "



Manic" ( no way I'm gonna lose on my own turf no less!)" Nova" ( just one more turn!) * leaving the last drift turn around the plaza fountain nova boosted ahead of manic leaving him to the be the victim of one of kits last items but struggling to hold his spot no less, but out of no where from above there was a hidden race path hidden in the trees that melantha dropped down just taking the lead by inches over nova taking first Nova" WHAT!" Kit" HOW?! DX stunning even kit before he crossed without realizing it, surge adn rabbi took the top 4and 5th quickly



Melantha" I did it!... I did it! " Nova" where did you even come from? I noticed the route before but I saw no where to enter it " Madeline" ....you remember the power ring lake, its not obvious but its a warp ring that leads to hidden path" Nova" ...I knew I should have tried it " Madeline" the tree path is so much harder if you miss one turn jump you'll fall behind massively DX" Nicole" but it was proven if your good you'll be heavily rewarded~ congratulations madeline" clapping her hands*



Khalon" yeah this was super fun! we should race more maybe even go into space , or other parts of mobius. but I think having tracks that are central themed would be better going from location to location was a but confusing at points" Kathy" to be fair the course "was" getting a little hard to follow " Nicole" agreed " Rabbi" congratulations my dark purple fairy whats your secret, considering you never did this before" Madeline" >w> pulls rabbi close to her as she whispered alot of those races we played back home have courses inspired by the past, so I had somewhat of a reference before we even started* Rabbi" o o so the courses here were...? " Madeline" nods " Rabbi" talk about future sight " Surge" well top five I'll take it for a first time I guess" Khalon" you still out ranked me so thats something I suppose " Surge" heh yeah who knows maybe on the go around will be different lighting hitting his shoulder Cody" feel like going a again everyone?" Nicole" you think that's alright kathy?"



Kathy" sure, if the kids are up for it I don't mind another watch ^^ " Velvet" maybe no items this time that will be a real test I'd say " Nova" don't make it harder for yourself l3 " Velvet" tough talk for some one who came in 2nd " ( Beep beep!) Surge" taking her phone out of her pocket she was getting a message from sugar" Sugar" sorry for pull you both back so suddenly but the debate is starting and I need my loyal supporters~ <3" Surge" sorry guys looks like mom is calling us back she wants us there for the big final standing" Khalon" aww feels like yo ujsut showed up DX" Surge" its not like I'll be gone forever" Khalon" still I wanted to hear your songs you were working on " Surge" feels more like me not playing badly then actually playing a song" Khalon" doesn't matter its from the heart so its yours XD" Surge" getting slightly flustered* .....( don't play it off!,,just..embrace it ) well I'll try to make for some bonus time for you as she held his hand and peaked him in the cheek

Whisper" my old squad it was a group of 6 of us and out of everyone mimic was one of them, eggman had burned my village but there squad recused the few that were able to survive, my dad wasn't so lucky in the raid, I was alone at that point, mimic was the one who saved me from getting captured and during a small confrontation with a eggbot I took his rifle and fired it capping the robot in one hit saving him. after that he asked me if I wanted to go with them, he would show me the ropes, and maybe I could get revenge for my father, at the time I said yes, what ever did I have? 3 years later I became a trained scout of the team everyone there was kind and warm... they became my new family. " ( Surge" so what happened?" ) Whisper" well one mission we learned about eggman harvesting wisp energy for his robots and we were looking to free them. I was scouting the security halls, things were going smoothly until the alarm went off, eggmans robots swarmed the facility, me and mimic weren't the most ideal for close combat so the others would divert the guards while we made our escape with the wisps. it wasn't long before the place was going up in flames. as had just made it to a air craft to escape in the flight bay*

eventually the facility went down in flames, as hours passed and the flames died out, whisper woke up with scorched clothing but still alive as she was inside a bubble of energy, and around her were the whispers who saved her from the fires, as she stood up she grabbed her mask as it started to rain her hands trembled as tears ran down her cheeks as all she could was cry her heart out , howling into the void, as the wisps feeling her sorrow huddled around her

( Wham!) tangles tail knocked the lid off while inside her hands were tied, she was gagged with a cloth and her fur was stained from the bleeding from her head
