"Let's socialize~"
Hello everybody!!
I tend to watch a lot of Youtube Shorts that end up being a lot about ramen cooking. Cause, my fatass love eating ramen packs XD
So I can't help but wonder, how different is everyone else? If of course a ramen lover!
If not, do you happen to have a favorite pasta dish you like making instead?
My go-to is regular or Jjajangmyeon Buldak. Topped with a lot of green onion, a fried egg, a splash of hot sesame oil and extra seaweed/sesame seeds if any on hand. Milk is my go-to beverage to pair it with cause I personally like the creamy aftertaste I get lmao
What's your:
- Favorite ramen/noodle brand?
- Favorite flavor?
- Favorite Toppings?
- Go-to beverage with it?:
- Ramen brands & flavors you hope to try in the future?:
- Toppings you haven't tried but would love to?:
And I'm with you, it's so good with plenty of green onion for sure!!
BUT for jjajangmyeon in particular I keep the water instead of stir-frying and put in some sour cream to make it thicker and a little less spicy haha. It is delicious, thick and spicy SOUP. >:3
Oh and soooometimes I put furikake on top for some CRONCH too XD
I love buldak but indomie brand is my fav and go-to for instant noodles.
Fav topping will always be egg! And i usually only have water.
I'd love to try other brands tho, I like seeing all the different ways to make ramen.
I'd love to try more seafood toppings and other vegetables proper haha
Yeeeahh, green onions for the wiiin!!! Enoki mushrooms are a good choice too! Sometimes I pan-fry them in sesame oil and use gochujang(if any on hand) to give it that spice kick before topping it upon the ramen.
:0!? Really!? Interesting~! That sounds how I like my beef stew, topped and stirred with sour cream x'D! Oh man, I might have to try that next time and let ya know how I like it >:D!
Oh heck yeahhhh, the crunch is the best!
Oh that's awesome! I actually bought a 5 pk of indomie not too long ago! I've had it before and liked it. So now I gotta experiment >:3
Is there a specific top brand you are wanting? Buldak was always my top to try. But now that I have, I've been really wanting to try Shin Ramen. Specifically the: Golden & Green one :0 I've had the Beef Bone Broth and it was okay lmao then again I had it plain. Maybe I need to top em with veggies and an egg
Oh are you a shrimp person? I buy frozen colossal shrimps and whenever wanting to try something for a ramen or soup with seafood, i will take out 2-3 to see if it works well with the dish or not. I usually do it on the side just in case if I don't like the flavors, I don't ruin the whole dish x'D totally not speaking from experience
I actually buy from an online asian market frequently and have ended up trying so many different random brands after trying the popular ones that sometimes I forget which ones I dIDNT like when I'm shopping and I have to look back at my reviews to see if I didn't like one of them LMAO
YOU WON ME AT SHRIMP. I love shrimp, but I'm like hmm shrimp AND ramen might be too much sodium HAHA
Sounds sooo good though, that's a smart way to test the flavor too, BIG BRAIN.
Shrimp is so good everything ~
Ah yeah, the sodium thing did worry me too. That's why with using big ass shrimp, it's a bit easier to go "I just need 1-2" versus a bag of small or medium shrimps where it can be a lil harder to judge what's too much(at least with my own experience).
If you ever get the chance to try it, let me know if it worked out :D!
I prefer thinner style noodles too, and evenbetter if they're kinda firm. I like the firm noodle
favourite department store brand I like is always a toss-up between Sapporo Ichiban (cheap and versatile for cooking my own), or Thai Mama Noodle which I just cook and eat as is, sometimes add meats and veg into it.
I actually don't often eat a lot of ramen but when I do UUUUUOOOOOAAHHHHSHIT ITS GOOD and I almost always choose Tonkotsu or Shoyu. I like Black Garlic flavours too tho!
you have excellent taste and I want to try what you had...
Oo okay! Like vermicelli?
I always heard Thai Mama is good. Oh man I forgot about Sapporo!! I haven't had that in forever. I bet that would be good with a bunch of veggies.
I try not to consume too much ramen cause I know that's not good on the body x.x I eat it maybe once a week or every other week.
BUT YEAHH BOOIII WHEN IT'S RAMEN MAKING AND EATING, ITS A GOOD TIME (โงโโฆ)
Black garlic flavor :0? That sounds tasty~
Aww lmao thanks though I don't think it's really that outstanding x'D I think the only time I made it real fancy is when I use to top buldak with fried spam & tofu too but I stopped cause lazy lol
You have great tastes though! I appreciate ya sharing with me ^w^!
- I LOVE Sapporo Tonkatsu Ramen packs. If I can't get those or something similar at my asian food store, Maruchan creamy chicken is always okay.
- My favorite toppings are naruto, chashu, and ramen eggs. My brother-in-law makes amazing soft-boiled ramen eggs.
- Go-To beverage would have to be bubble tea or Ramune if I can get them. Otherwise, flavored water is what I always have on hand.
- I want to try spicy ramen, but I'm a scared kitty cat. But it seems to be the popular pick everywhere, so I might have to just go for it anyways at some point.
- I would like to try furikake or those fish flakies. I'm not a fan of green onions, but I can typically get over them in ramen if they come on it.
Oh man I use to love creamy chicken ramen as a kid! I should try it again
I can never get the soft boiled method right xD idk what it is but I just herp derp whenever I get a chance. But it sounds amazing<3
:0!! Would you like me to sneak some spicy ramen packets into your trade box? That way when you get it, you get an awesome snack or two and can let me know if you like any of them ^w^?
Oh that's fair! I overload mine with green onions x'D furikake is fire, highly recommend. And oh, the bonito flakes?! I wanna get my hands on some top just to use and watch them dance over heat xD
I've also done ramen without the spice pack with some cream of mushroom, a can of tuna, and some peas. But now I just make up some regular noodles for that, lol.
XD that's fair! Do you have a specific noodle you like using for it?? My go to noodle to use is elbow macaroni cause I like making pasta salads. But I also use it for other dishes, though my favorite noodle to eat is glass or rice noodles lol
I love udon noodles and general spaghetti or angel hair. Elbow macaroni is also nice though mainly for mac and cheese, lol. For the tuna dish, I usually use egg noodles for that. So nice~ Also nice in soups, which I love!
Angel hair is such a good nood. Elbow mac is good for pasta salads and other dishes too, not just mac & cheese lol
Oh good to know that the egg noodles for the tuna is a good combo ^w^
I'm not much of a pasta salad person. ^_^;; But may have to try some since I know my tastes have changed some.
