Could always try drawing something really far outside your usual choice of species. Something like an insectoid or a robot! See if you can design one like an old video game enemy. (Bonus points if they feature the totally needed "inflate self to shoot ranged attack")

I personally think you should pick something different but also still within your realm of interests. Otherwise you might get bored.

For me... I know sometimes I get reinvigorated to draw if I do something horny lol. Specifically kink stuff. It always feels warm and welcoming and I've managed to complete some full pieces I'm decently proud of that were very specifically catered to my sorts of kinks. It just feels fun.

Maybe try some aquatic or summer theme?
