So I kind of disappeared for a few days and return with a big update that some people on Discord are already aware of.

My Dad's transplant finally happened! We were called in on Father's Day morning and his surgery began extremely early the next day (coincidentally, his birthday).

I'm extremely relieved to say that he has been recovering well - better than well, actually, it seems everything about this was just perfect.

The next year is going to be a little rough for him as it's important to make sure his body continues to accept his new liver, but the results are already being seen (he had always had a bit of brain fog but I guess the new liver is clearing out many of the toxins so he's less scatter brained).

So the past few days were me stuck in one set of clothes staying between a hospital and a hotel with my mom as we stressed out over all this, but here we are!
