A few weeks ago, Kim Peek, the famous Megasavant who was the inspiration for the movie "Rainman,"passed away at the age of 58 from a massive heart attack. His 96 year old father, (His sole caregiver) his brother, mother, and sister, all outlived him. May he rest in peace. *Gives a moment of respectful silence*

And the fate of his prized possession, the Best Picture Oscar for that the movie "Rainman" won, remains unknown at this point. But I, personally, hope it finds its way back to director Barry Levinson.
