Hey folks! My third "Summer Vacation" themed short story commission batch is NOW OPEN! Please leave a comment on this journal if you'd like to claim a slot or two, then note me with your idea(s). I'm super excited to see what tales y'all are looking for me to write for you this time around!


As with the last two batches, fifteen commission slots are available, with a maximum of two slots per person. Unlike the last two though, this batch will initially be open only to folks who have NOT yet gotten a summer vacation story commission in either of the previous two batches. The last two batches both got sold out super quickly, and I know that some folks just weren't able to be around in time to grab a story or two when they were available. Thus, I'm giving this opportunity for people who haven't yet claimed a summer vacation story to get first dibs on one or two slots of their own.

Of course, if after forty eight hours (by 8pm BST on Sunday June 29th) there are any slots still unclaimed, they will become available for anyone to purchase, even if you have gotten a summer vacation story in either/both of the last two batches.


The details of these themed commissions and what you can expect for your ££ are the same as the last two batches; each story will be roughly 2000 words for £25gbp, with you providing characters and a simple prompt/plot that in some way relates to a summer vacation or at least some fun in the heat (or a cool attempt to escape it). <3 For more details, see the FAQ below!


FAQs

What does the "Summer Vacation" theme mean?

It means that each story should take place during the summer season, and should feature some vacation or holiday aspect to its setting or plot. This could be the characters going to the beach, the local park or pool, a resort, finding themselves in an exotic or naturally beautiful locale, or just relaxing at home enjoying some time off work. Really so long as it incorporates a summery vibe, anything goes. And of course, that should play into any lewd shenanigans that occur! :3


What will I get if I buy a themed commission or two?

Each short story will be roughly 2000 words long! For that, you'll be able to put forward a few main characters (there's no hard limit, but keep it reasonable so the whole story isn't just me introducing 15 characters, haha), choose the setting/location/situation that makes the commission summer vacation themed, and what you'd like those characters to be doing in that situation.

Of course it doesn't 'have' to be lewd if you just want a cute chill beach scene or something, but it's more than welcome to be XXX rated. ^^

Just remember that as these are short stories of around 2000 words, your idea should be able to be summarised fairly quickly/simply, otherwise it's probably too complicated for this sort of short commission. <3


How many commission slots will be available in this themed batch?

I'll be taking on fifteen stories for completion in July. This may be my final Summer Vacation themed batch of 2025, but I'll definitely be doing other themed commission batches as the year goes on (Namely for Kinktober and XXXmas!)


How many slots can each commissioner claim?

It'll be a maximum of two slots per person. Additionally for this batch, only people who have NOT purchased a summer vacation story in either of the last two batches will be able to claim slots initially. If there are still slots available after two days (8pm BST on Sunday June 29th), the remaining slots will be opened up for any repeat clients who'd like to grab another themed piece.


How much do the stories cost, and how can I pay?

Each short story commission will be £25gbp, that's a £10 discount on the usual price I charge for short story commissions as a thanks for taking part in these themed batches, which hopefully by now you know I love to do every few months. :)

Payment will be taken after you have claimed your spot/spots in the batch and we have agreed on the details of your commission, but up-front in full via Paypal before any work begins. As always, I'd appreciate it if you'd try to ensure that you're able to provide the idea and then pay for your commission within 72 hours of the commission batch opening, so I'm not spending a whole week afterwards on admin rather than actually writing for y'all. :D


Are there any limits on what you can write for these stories?

Generally speaking, so long as any stories containing adult content feature characters who are all fully consenting adults (18+), and so long as the vibes are generally positive (I'm not the biggest fan of writing darker, more violent or depressing content), I'm fairly open to writing a lot of different stuff.
