I'm delighted to announce that once again this year, after what I now see is a FOUR year gap (I didn't realise it had been so long!!) I'm doing KINKTOBER once again!

This journal is just announcing the batch's opening date and giving y'all an advanced look at the list of kinks so you can decide if you want to grab a spot or two. I am not open for Kinktober commissions yet. I will be opening for the batch on Friday September 26th at 8PM BST.

Here's a little FAQ regarding Kinktober for those who haven't seen it before or want a refresher, but if you have any other questions feel free to ask. :3


Hey Jeeves, what the heck's kinktober??

Kinktober is one of my favourite themed commission batches to work on! It's where I write a story for each day in October, posting them throughout the month, each of which is themed around one particular kink. You can see the list of kinks I've made available for this year's Kinktober batch at the end of this journal!

Kinktober originally started as a play on the art challenge of "Inktober", but now it's just an excuse for me to write a bunch of short and specifically kink focused stories for y'all. <3 If you want to see what I wrote for some previous kinktobers, you can find them in folders divided by year in my gallery (note that right now there's a slight bug with the formatting of .txt files on the FA mobile site, so you'll have to set your browser to view FA in desktop mode to read them properly).


What do I get to pick if I buy a Kinktober story?

Each kinktober commission will be a ~2000 word short story, for £25gbp, a £10 discount on my normal short story commission price of £35gbp.

For that price, you get to pick a kink from the list at the end of the journal (multiple people can pick the same kink, so you don't have to worry about your favourite being nabbed if you aren't slamming the refresh button the second I open for the commission batch), then you can note me with a few characters (2-3 main characters at the most ideally, given that these are short stories) you'd like to feature in the story) and a simple plot that has your chosen kink as its main focus.

And as is always the case with my work, all characters involved in stories that feature any sort of sexual/kinky activity must be fully consenting adults. :)


How many kinktober stories will you be doing, and how many slots can each person claim?

I'll be doing 31 kinktober stories, one for each day in October. Every commissioner can claim/buy up to TWO kinktober slots, though while multiple different people can pick the same kink, if you're getting two slots I'd prefer if you picked two different kinks, so that way I get to write and share a greater variety of stuff over the course of the month. :3


The kink I want isn't on the list. Can I ask for a different one instead?

Sorry, but no. While I totally appreciate that my list doesn't cover everyone's interests, I tried to get a wide variety of stuff in there while also covering topics I personally enjoy writing about. I also may have just missed it off by accident even if it is something I like writing, but hey, I'm not going anywhere so there'll always be more chances to grab stories based on the stuff you like! <3


I want to get a story but I'm not super comfortable with my favourite kinks being shared online, can I keep my story private?

Unfortunately because the idea of the kinktober challenge is to post a story every day in October, I do need to post all 31. However I'm totally happy to take and post commissions anonymously, so when I open for the main commission batch you can note me rather than responding to the journal directly, and I'll anonymise the name of the commissioner when I write and share the stories. :3
