It was a very busy Summer for me with lots of fun and different activities, including spending a full week camping across PA with my daughter. That was fantastic! Here's hoping the stars align for 26!

I'm a county out from Pittsburgh, but it's definitely my home base as it were. I did have a good vacation. If you've never been down to Ohiopyle you should check it out.

Oh yeah I have heard of Ohiopyle. I can't remember what have done there, maybe a single day party of some sort. I do know how nice it is down there, and that there are a lot of fun activities.

Indeed! Biking, Hiking, Tubing, White Water Rafting (some of the best on the East Coast), as well as cultural highlights like Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Totally worth a visit.

Yeah that definetely sounds fun. I do enjoy some walks and biking from time to time. Never really tried white water rafting. Also I had no idea FallingWaters was down there. I thought it was more east of Pittsburgh. Also I just got off from a vacation myself. Went to Ocean City Maryland.

Well, Ohiopyle State Park is southeast of Pittsburgh, about two hours away. It's worth the trip though. Fallingwater is definitely worth seeing at least once. And if you've never been White Water Rafting, it's also something you should do once. The Lower Yough is always a blast and will give you a good workout.

It is a good spot for vacation. I actually do think I go near Ohiopyle when I drove down to Ocean City. Drove past Nemacolin and the Yough Resvoir. I was honestly shocked to see there was actually water back in that area.

That's US 40, the National Pike, I believe. Ohiopyle is not far from Nemacolin. Gorgeous area. Laurel Caverns and Fort Necessity are there and worth seeing too.

Ah yes Laruel Caverns. I have passed that many time and I have been there a few times myself. I remember the big area that goes dark and they play music and lights and the tilted area with one contraption that had a ball roll up a hill because of gravity. Heck I think even one time the group I was with saw a tiny bat sleeping in one of the natural indentations in the cave wall.

I love all those details! Been too many years since I've been there now. So cool you saw a bat in there!
