Life Update! Where Have I Been?!

I’ve been meaning to share an update for a long time but life has been keeping me busy!
I normally try to keep my personal life separate from my art, though I’ve been known to share major life events. At the end of last year, the biggest life event of all happened — I became a father! Since then, my life has been focused on my new baby and our new family dynamic. I’m lucky enough to be a stay at home dad and, as I’m sure you can guess, the adjustment curve has been a lot!
As for art, it’s currently on hiatus. I’ve tried sneaking in personal pieces and even the occasional commission, but I don’t feel like I’ve been able to devote enough time and attention to it. Personal pieces may still pop up here and there, but ultimately the time a piece takes me to complete exceeds the amount of time I feel comfortable asking a commissioner to wait.
As my little guy grows and gains more independence, I hope to be able to reopen slots and get back into the swing of things. I will really miss Freya month this year.
On the upside, I am using this time to research new techniques and brainstorm lots of new projects! The future is bright, and I hope you’ll stick around!
