Hi everyone,
I rarely gives status updates, but I think for those who it may concern.
I had a big health scare today.
I awoke around 5 am, with a decent chunk of shoulder pain. I couldn't get to sleep anymore, so got up and walked around, when I noticed that my shoulders were only a side effect.
Whenever I took in a breath it hurt my chest and then my shoulders.
I took some pain meds, but those didn't help much not even after an hour.
By that time it was almost 8 when the local doctors offices open.
I called them explained my symptoms which had worsened by this point. The shoulder pain had reached 9/10 for me. My neck was stiff and hurting, and my lower jaw began throbbing as well.
They called an ambulance, the crew arrived fast, very grateful. They did a heart ecg I think? They call it a heart-record here (loosely translated)
My blood oxygen level at one point dipped to 83%. So they were worried and took me in for a thorough examination.
Did all manner of tests, but nothing serious came out. (mind you 3/4 hours later)
The only thing they could say with certainty is that my longue, or the area around it had some fluid build up, but it was minor so they left it for what it is.
They suspect a chest infection that when I breath is sending all kinds of nasty pain signals to my upper torso.
That's about it.
I've had this exact thing once before a year ago. I ignored it back then, and it resolved itself after like 3 weeks, not without considerable pain though.
I'm expecting this will progress similarly. Pain is less right now, but at least I know it's not life threatening.
Thanks for your time if you read this. Have a better day than me!
