It happened, the older laptop I do most of my artwork on got bricked by a Windows update. I usually did the artwork there to free up my newer laptop for other things. I'm gonna take the ol' girl down to the shop Wednesday to see what the recommend and if it will just be cheaper to yank the HD and put it in an external case or save the lappy.

Hopefully I can get the HD back today. Seems the CPU went on the old lappy so it's data recovery.

That one is dead, they're getting me the HD and data off of it so I can work around the problem.
