AUCTION RULES
By placing a bid for my (the artist's) auction, you (the client) agree to the following terms:
______________________________________
1. GENERAL
1.1 Depending on the artist’s current queue, the typical turnaround time for finished YCH auction pieces is max 14 days, assuming the client replies within a reasonable timeframe. The artist will begin work on the piece as soon as possible.
1.2 The artist reserves the right to reject a bid from any client without providing a detailed explanation.
1.3 The client must provide a reference sheet for the character unless stated otherwise. If a clear reference sheet is not included, the artist may charge an additional fee.
1.4 The client must be at least 18 years old to place a bid.
1.5 False bids will lead to rejection from any future auctions.
1.6 If the winner fails to pay by the deadline, the YCH slot will go to the next highest bidder.
1.7 Payment in USD through PayPal invoice.
______________________________________
2. PERMISSIONS AND LICENSE
2.1 The artist retains full copyright to the auctioned YCH piece and has the right to showcase it in their portfolio, on social media, at live events, and in any other online or physical galleries.
2.2 The client may not reproduce, edit, or use the commissioned piece for any commercial or profitable purposes without the artist’s written permission and the purchase of an appropriate license.
2.3 Major edits or modifications to the commissioned artwork by the client or any third party are not allowed without the artist’s consent.
2.4 The commissioned artwork may not be used for AI (artificial intelligence) training under any circumstances.
______________________________________
3. REVISIONS
3.1 The artist will keep the client updated throughout the process. Updates will typically be provided at the sketch, line art, base color, and shading/rendering stages. Clients are encouraged to request changes as early as possible.
3.2 The client is entitled to up to three (3) free revision requests per stage (sketch, line art, base color and shading/rendering). Additional revisions beyond this may incur extra charges depending on the complexity of the changes.
3.3 Any mistakes made by the artist, such as incorrect character details clearly shown in a clear reference sheet, will be corrected at no additional cost.
3.4 When receiving updates and the final work, the client must review the artwork carefully before approving it. No further changes will be made once the finished piece has been accepted.
3.5 If the client does not respond to the artist’s message regarding the completed piece, the final files will be delivered, and the project will be marked as complete after seven (7) days. After this point, the artist will no longer work on the piece.
3.6 If the client does not respond to commission updates within two (2) days, the artist has the right to place the project on hold until the client responds. In such cases, the original turnaround time will be extended. Each day the client fails to respond will be added to the overall turnaround time.
3.7 If the client stops communicating and does not respond for 30 days, the commission will be canceled without a refund. The client has up to 60 days to reactivate the canceled commission by paying the original price again.

4. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
4.1 No refunds will be given once the work is completed or has reached the final rendering stage.
4.2 The client is entitled to a partial refund if the artwork is not completed within the agreed-upon timeframe.
4.3 A partial refund (up to 50% of winning price) may be issued if the bid-winning client chooses to cancel the project. A partial refund may be issued if the client chooses to cancel the project that has already been started but is not yet finished. The refund amount (partial or full) will be determined through individual discussion and agreement with the client.
