A problem with FA.
I believe i have discovered my biggest issue with FA as a whole and maybe the furry community in general. This may extend to the concept of online art but over noticed it a lot more heavily here given I've been peripherally in the Fandom for 20 years at this point.
Very little furry art, and very little fa art, has any reason to be looked at more than once. I'm not dating this out of spite or my own sense of superiority, but most art i see is very forgettable ifv even ifbi click on it at all.
Maybe I'm burned out, but it feels like it all runs together and it makes me almost sad
Maybe I'm just old.

Maybe a break would help? Maybe thinning out the watchlist so it's just those artists whose work you really love and resonate with? I don't know, I get where you're coming from. The community nowadays feels different, people don't comment or engage as much anymore, maybe because they're all burned out too. As an artist I feel obligated to churn out "content" for people to look at, and to pay my bills. Maybe we are just getting old, lol.
I'm a long time artist. Even my own art turned forgettable. I noticed, over the years, it became less of thoughtful/story art and soon morphed into "content" for the sake of content. Empty, comfortable, easy, content. (For a number of reasons I won't write out here, or else this will be a super long reply)
This happened once I posted heavily online.
It doesn't help how little people engage if you're not one of the top (usually adult focused) artist. Posting art to an empty void is very discouraging for many.
I can't say the same for other artist (everyone has different reasons for posting ofc), but for me I've had to address this by significantly slowing down. Stop drawing "just because", and focus on what I truly enjoy about art/being an artist...even if it means receiving no engagement, little watchers, and posting a lot of character focused/story driven art no one cares about.
Because that stuff never mattered in the first place for me. Online posting made me believe it mattered (thus falling into that hole of factory content/chasing engagement).
Very well thought out and put together.
But sex everywhere is boring.
Think how rock hasv flaws in it that enhance the excitement vs pop that is prefect but generic.
Your work is actuality refreshing.
Aside that i want to play with that goose, you have a feeling to your work that reminds me of early artwork from the 90s and 2000s, which is to say: warm.
I look forward to seeing what you do my new friend.
I am honored you think that of my drawings, there's a lot of people way better than me that do feel unique to me, i think my biggest source of inspiration would be Mike Kazaleh's works though his style is totally different, My favourite bit of his artwork would be the "mean green bondo machine" art-book.
That is real art in my opinion, furry art.
Rock can be made like pop too - overproduced and synthetic and then i can't listen to it :)
Oh boy well i hope whatever you want to play with me is not something like spin the bottle. hahaha
I'm always open to you.
Take that as you like, DM or whatever
