A CoPilot chat: The forward course of humanity
3 months ago
Greetings reader
Ever wondered what happens when you ask an AI to dive deep into the human condition?
This is another episode in my ongoing adventure with CoPilot, the Windows A.I. The challenge: unraveling humanity’s path forward. The chat that followed was a wild blend of science fiction speculation, philosophical reflection, and CoPilot’s linguistic finesse that really impressed me.
If you're into big questions, bold ideas, and a dash of poetic future gazing; this chat transcript may be just the entertain read for you.

I am wondering how many read this post. Please leave a comment with the text “*” so I have a count.
May you enjoy the adventure and thank you.

As to your contribution, I would go a bit further, agreeing with what CoPilot proferred: I believe that there IS a glitch in our species, and I believe it is one that cannot be bred out. Perhaps that seems defeatist, and perhaps it is simply borne of an impatience on my part. But as I like to joke now and then, I for one welcome our wolven overlords. I would go so far as to say that not only will we not survive as a species, but that we do not deserve to do so. We seemingly had everything going for us, and yet we squandered every natural resource, and tried to subjugate everything and everyone we surveyed.
I am mystified how we would even rate a footnote in some future historical accounting - something of our society would have to survive in order for that to happen. And sadly, I'm afraid that even our mere memory might taint whomever or whatever comes next. We are so very good at destruction.
I have never felt at home, not completely, on this planet. Well, perhaps on the planet, but never amongst humans. There's so much I do not identify with: dominion and subjugation just for starts. It is so abhorrent to me, that even competition seems a pointless (though we are taught necessary) exercise. I know this is a reason for my relative lack of career success. And without that success, how do we even rate in this society?
I'm glad you brought my attention to your post, and I thank you for the stimulating interchange. I wonder how many of us there really are out there?

Some how this all reminds me of Marvin the robot from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".
