Just an update.
Since my brother passed back in December, I noticed not only have I haven't been drawing as much, let alone finishing anything. But I also picked up a bad habit I thought I dropped last year.
BUT, I am happy to say I am now about a week and a half alcohol free. I have been sleep much better than I have in months, not waking up numerous times anymore. I don't get home from work and just lay in bed. I haven't been irritable at all, feeling tired. Been waking up with my alarm, morning stretches, drink some protein, go to work, getting back into the gym again, and have been getting back into drawing to close the days. The last two days, I drew and inked 6 things, scanned them in and in process of coloring. Be it art for you all, or comic art of The Fallen ((I have neglected my stories for too long))
I missed this feeling you know? As sad as it sounds just saying a week and a half of no booze, but I am proud of myself of trying to get back to how I was before the passing of my brother.
So...wish me luck on this little journey of sobriety.
Thank you for your time,
The Crazy Kid

Good job so far dude, give yourself a pat on the back.
i find the gym to be best way to blow off some steam and get your mind off things. that or some really good games that brings you happiness. :3
But since then, Scottie came into existence and had I kept drinking, she'd never have met Marlene. 🫣
Keep at it one day at a time, dude! You'll see in time that alcohol is not needed to feel like yourself.
And besides, my colie and your otter are probably missing eachother a whole damn lot! ðŸ¤
