I waited until today to write this so I'd be more calm upon writing it.
I went to my doctor's yesterday for my 2nd pregnancy visit and ultrasound. She told me that I was right about when I got pregnant (based on the development stage), so score one for me! (Or would that be more than one score, since I obviously scored at least once already? Anway...) I'm 10 weeks or so now, and she's very healthy (sex won't be anything else for at least another month) and VERY active. When the camera was near her, she was moving all around. But once the camera stopped moving, she actually turned to face the camera and started waving at us!!!! It was SOOOOO WONDERFUL!!!My hubby almost cried when she did that. (Everybody ready? Say "Dawww") :-D She's 3.66 cm long now (that's about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 in long) and I've gained a whole 3 pounds in the last month.
So yeah, everything's progressing smoothly and as anticipated. Still exceptionally happy, and smiling almost continually since yesterday. That'll probably happen every time I look at the 5 pics I got to keep.
Maybe I'll have enough excitement energy to do another story this weekend. Or maybe hubby will. If we're both energetic, maybe there'll be 2 stories! We'll see.
