getting ready for linux
so i was already going to switch to linux after windows 10 stopped getting supported. but after seeing my friend struggle with win11 for the past week or so. yeah it solidified my decision.
what happened with my friend is that they were using win11 fine for a while until a recent update caused their pc to constantly either hard crash or blue screen. we've tried so much to fix it. deleting updates. rolling back updates. updating drivers. etc. some things worked for a short while but the crashes just came right back. they even tried doing a fresh clean install of win11 and it hard crashed yet again.
so yeah i'm not touching win11 ever after seeing all that happen over a fucking update. so i'm probably going to go with bazzite linux when the time comes. saw that blender runs faster in linux compared to windows so that's a huge bonus! currently seeing what programs i got installed currently that work in linux. which isn't much since it's just art related stuff and mod managers lol

24H2 is like a service pack or a new version of Windows. If your install media is too old it can be a hassle.
Linux will eventually challenge him too, but there’s a huge community and lots of documentation so maybe it’ll be different.
A) Use Windows Backup one time,
B) Spend 1000 Microsoft Points, or
C) Pay $30 USD.
