Having dealt with crushing depression, to the point that at one time on gate guard duty (Clarke AFB, RP) I pulled out my .38 revolver and stuck the muzzle under my chin, pulling the hammer back to its locked position. I think that I can understand your position. By the way, that Gate was DOU (SP) and it was late 1974. NO water, no electricity, no people for twelve hours. In a Typhoon it can grind on you. Maybe it is part of why the VA now lists me as 100% disabled.
