DA account returned!
Thanks to DA support, my account was successfully returned! I want to share my story with you so that you have more information and you don’t fall for the same trap if something happens.
Scammers are becoming more sophisticated. A person from a real live account wrote to me (I think it was also stolen by a scammer, I will call him a "victim" from now on) and said that he accidentally sent a report for fraud to my account because someone created an account similar to mine and scammed people from it, and then asked me to go to Discord.
In Discord, he sent me screenshots allegedly from DA support, where they asked me to contact a certain Austin Buck, which I assume is the scammer's second account. This had to be done in order to remove a false report from me. And this Austin began to scam me, pressure me, manipulate, etc. I came to my senses only when I lost access to the account, and he began asking me for screenshots of transactions from an online bank. I immediately blocked him and the "victim's" account, and sent reports.
At the moment, the nickname and avatar of the "victim's" account Discord have been changed at least twice to the names of real DA accounts. The scammer continues his work.
Don't be as gullible as I was and don't change your personal information in your account at the request of unknown individuals who pretend to be DA employees on ANOTHER platform. Real support will never ask you for anything like that and will never threaten to delete your account. I was lucky that I had core and two-factor authentication, otherwise the scammer would have been able to log into the account and withdraw all the money stored there.
Scammers can find a "key" to anyone, and I no longer blame myself for being caught. I hope that you will be more vigilant than I was and never give the opportunity to scoundrels and thieves to get to your hard-earned money.
Be safe.

That particular scam you're mentioning I've seen a few people I watch fall for, or mention. but you gotta think like this. Why the FUCK would DeviantART want you to contact someone OUTSIDE DeviantART to solve an issue on DeviantART? IF you were in trouble with dA, you'd see it in action instantly cause they won't give you a warning before banning your account for something.
Luckily, I talked to the person and they returned my money, but the situation was unpleasant. As I said, the scammer managed to find a key to me this time.
To be honest, I still don't understand why this happened. But the person returned the money, so they were telling me the truth about this situation.
Hope these people eventually gets what they deserve. Its unlikely, but one can hope :'3
