Thank you King, it was a vigilant 30-something hours with not much rest (honestly the past few weeks too, but moreso). I wanted to type up an update yesterday but as our luck would have it, our AC is busted so we're delirious from the heat =_= She did really well though, putting up with all the tests and prep and got in and out of surgery without any complications. The foreign body was a mass of human hair; I was worried that it was mine since I've lost the most, but the household reassured me that it was all darker hair, and it may have been from her getting in the bathroom trash after clearing the shower drain or something—it could've occurred while she was under the effects of meds from all the unrelated health issue vet visits. All good now though thankfully, we just need to recoup financials but she is happy, healthy, and alive. She's running around (against the behest of doctors) and eagerly eating chicken. They all love her energy there, and this is only possible because of friends and family who also love her being able to pool resources. We're soon to go pick her up and start her on cautious home rehabilitation. <3

I hear heat is really bad this time around in US... hope u can continue taking care! It's good that the source of her health complications was discovered and that she's feeling better too :)

Much better, our house temp is returning to normalcy from overnight; it crept up to 93 Fahrenheit inside over 4 days while vendors kept coming and going without resolution. We were able to get a portable unit—both pets and humans have been revelling in it.

Luna's probably the happiest she's been in weeks, getting to relax without anything bothering her. We've been camped out on the floor and cuddling her, keeping her cool and maintaining her recovery routine best we can. It's so good to see her appetite back, she's so ravenous! I think the hardest part is keeping her low activity, because she keeps wanting to clamber and scrounge, but we gotta keep it slow to protect healing... =w=
