The end of free speech online?

For those who aren't aware of what's going on, I think now would be a good time to check out YouTube (or whatever other information source) in regards to free speech online. Currently there are many events happening world wide that I find very concerning. I worry we have a very dark future ahead.
FA+

And you have places like the UK also putting ID age verification for anything thay might have "adult" content. And Spotify and Youtube just decided to apply that worldwide to their content.

"The government used Dictatorship. It's not very effective."
Promising something that sounds like a good thing, but there's always a dark motive behind it. The corrupt method of controlling free speech on the internet is just the governments way of controlling users and what they view on the internet, not truly making it safe for everyone. They're using the overused braindead tactic of "ThInK oF tHe ChIlDrEn!" to spearhead these actions to have the government hover our your shoulder to watch everything your doing on your PC or mobile devices. This is only a baby step which will expand into full control over the years if this isn't stopped. Big names are even talking about this like YT, certain political figures and such there should be petitions to sign to fight back against this since this is starting first into the UK before the rest of the world is affected next. This will also reach into art websites that feature NSFW and fetish art like this one. Unfortunately, this will also include some art that is safe which may not be in their eyes. It'll be North Korea 2.0. This is concerning, but not surprising to me since government control has been trying to make this a reality for years now. Movies, games, cartoons (aka anime), etc will also be impacted by this eventually.
Oh also this won't just be free speech in trouble, this is affecting Visa/Mastercard companies as well since they're two of the major card usages on the planet. Steam was recently forced to remove a lot of adult and very weird gamed. I honestly don't care for adult games, but to those that do it's still controlling and disgusting to see that a card company thinks that it has a monopoly over us just because of how much impact they have on spending choices.
If this was really about protecting children, we would be using a better system that doesn't involve doxxing ourselves.
