Hey folks!

I just wanted to share a little journal to let y'all know about my plans for the next couple of months. Originally I think I've mentioned in a place or two that my plan was to have a very light commission month in August, then open for "Kinktober" in, weirdly, September, so I could post them throughout October. Buuut my house needs to have some plumbing work done in September that's gonna take a few days where I just won't be able to work since pipes will be getting re-routed under the floor of my home office. So, I'm gonna be opening for Kinktober at the END of September, rather than the start.

For August, I'm still taking on a lighter workload so I can work around any heat (though as its starting to get darker a little earlier again I can at least work most evenings now). I've already had a few folks approach me for commissions, and including the couple who still have to confirm their ideas and pay (if you read this and you've gotten in touch, don't worry, I'm holding a spot for you. :D) I'm happy with my workload as it is, so I won't be taking on any extra commissions beyond that. I'm also going to be posting the Summer Vacation themed stories I wrote over the last few months in August, which means some days you'll actually get more than one story upload. :o Then for September, since I'm not sure exactly when the plumbing work is gonna happen, I'll keep my workload light again so I can take some days off as needed without delay to anyone's commission work. :)

And after that, like I previously mentioned, it'll be right onto the fun of another themed short story batch with Kinktober. Very excited to write another 31 kink-focused tales for some of y'all when that time rolls around. <3


Outside of writing, I'm still spending a lot of my time reading, though my pace has slowed a little due to the summer heat making it difficult to enjoy my cosy reading nook (it's hard to be cosy when it's 32C ;-;). I treated myself to an early birthday gift of a Kobo Clara BW e-reader last month because there were a couple of hard to find volumes of book-series I wanted that if I'd paid ebay prices for would have cost me more than the cost of the e-reader anyway. I still prefer print books, but the Kobo Clara is very simple and compact in a way I also appreciate, and it does open up the opportunity to read several light novel series I've had my eye on that don't have physical print releases in English at this time, so I'll make good use of it alongside my still growing library of physical books. <3
