I have a lot of friends

I don't mean real friends, who needs those? What I mean is that people semi-regularly send me friend requests on Discord and probably at least half of them are scammers.
Of course it's obvious to me that they're scammers as soon as I see the friend request pop up, and I only accept it and and message with them in order to waste their time, and also because I'm a little curious about who or what is behind the wave of them that seemed to start flooding in a few years ago.
The reason I bring this up is because Discord has a "mutual friends" feature that shows you if any of your friends are friends of your friends, and I don't want my trolling of scammers to confuse anyone into thinking "well they're friends with Nico so they must be legit."
So, you know, be careful out there. Use your head. The scammers are pretty bad at pretending to be artists so if you pay a little attention it should be obvious when something's not right.

You're not really going to hold them up by trying to waste their time unfortunately, they're used to it and there's a whole bunch of them. The people that message you will all roughly follow the same script, as that's all they're getting paid to do. An obvious one is them hitting you with the "actually, I'm an artist..." that so many of them have in their script.
I had one of them show me a video recording of their screen, toggling layers of their ""art"" as "proof" of them being a "real artist".
Most of them operate at night time in Pakistan and India, sometimes using otherwise legitimate offices. "AG World Solution" is/was one of the company names they've used.
It really couldn't have been more clear that they were a scammer.
Though lately I have had random people fr me from nowhere
Don't even share servers so I don't know if my discord is out there or im on a bot list for them to keep trying with bot accounts
