I'd say you are mostly overthinking it, this is why clean alts exists, I don't think someone is gonna have a "mental scar" just because there's a hint of it having extra versions, this has been a thing before with bigger artists and I haven't heard such issues like what you think
Don't be worrying about what the entire world thinks about what you do and like, just do it, and those who really adore your content will stick around

I decided not to worry about it since I've already been going to greater lengths to categorize my stuff than a lot of artists

I do know this is already a niche space of art but even within each kink individual people have their own very personal preferences, like me for example. I'm used to most stuff from being in the furry art community for a really long time. but even I have specific themes that can gross me out or otherwise upset me, and as someone prone to intrusive thoughts, that stuff can stick in my mind; I want to minimize the chance of doing that to anyone else

It makes sense, but well, the adult filter is there for a reason, keywords can also be blacklisted, and actually, more often than not, it's the SFW picture that is seen as the real one, the alt being called an 'alt' for a reason.

Using a separate account like here is a good idea to prevent irking people that would otherwise not be into these kinks.

At this point, if people still complaints, well, they would complaint no matter what. As long as you do your effort to not expose people into what theyre not into via that alt account, no need to worry, those naysayers would complaint no matter what likely
