ozzy fucking osbourne.
funny i never knew his songs until i realized he was black sabbath.
black saturday/ .
'
a quatro of hombres from across the pond most famous guitarists lost parts of their fingers (iionmi and garcia of the gratefuldead)
geezer butler and bill ward.
first off, i never tgruly appreciated just how important black sabbth was until i realized and rememvbered what i was hearing. (also rip brian wilson) my little toddler day were taken up by pretending to be lionking, biting people in catholic preschool, being kicked out for lying, and skirting the whole going to catholic school scene (thanks lck stat)
ozzy's abbath is by far and away thebest
but which album is the best of all time?
hands down paranoid. staying power, replayanility, ranging tempos melodys lyrivcs tell tales form drugs to war and peace, the ever popular ironman (reference to jesus christ not tony stark) in the beginning of that song it is in fact ofzzy doing what most of us would do as kids pretending to be james earl jones in starwors with our fan we hd our 'vader voice'
great right? well lets go with second most prolific and rememberance nd memoriizdng lyrics.
my lst of ull albums list4ned to is as follows
sabotage
paranoid
master of reality
sself titled debut album
sabbath bloody sabbath
black sabbath IV
never say die
heaven and hell (dio, butr all dio songs have the same gallop. this song, and holy diver, ect) was okay but dio was a replacement a bvig name sure. but no one could comprehend what the burn out junky animal murderer would become
some retreat, some defeat
ozzy rose to the occasion and even while on mad blitzes of drugs and decadance he managed to put failt and hope in all of us addicts losers, debbie downers, and dark princes with a sour look on life..
fact of the matter is when you got the (8)ball you run with it.
enter my favorite and forever anthem
Crazy train.
im still ashamed i never knew before lets go by lil jon and east side bois
but god damn crazy train.
what a perfect answer in song form with the first lines triumphantly and brilliantly put together sentence as if all the black sabbath fans were worried about his direction and going to destory his life with drugs.
no.
"Crazy! But that's how it goes..."
what a first line in the epic anthem of a generation of degenerate drtuggies and hopeful junkies. a blond golden idol expressing his being and then the rest of the song basically about being alive and human in the 19890s with the cold war not in site of an end and feeling upset about humans you me, ozzy being held back being driven crazy on this crazy train of existence of consciouness, of profoundly simple, the crazy train is our journey through life.
and i am happy to share with you all just how excited music ozzy black sabbath and the blues hard blues and metal stoner metal was founded with a simple chord progreswion on their first self titled track black sabbath. lovely forbidden note to destroy all the music and eerie and nearly enigmatic darkly depicts with ozzy's unsure vocls on his very first album with sabbath, you can definitely see form song one to Never say die. his confidence rose, his voice so unique, unmistakable.
a part of my youth died with ozzy as his crazy train halted
but all of ours continued on
also check out wheels of confusion / the straightener
so i learned tha tlife is just a game
bvut you know there's never been a winner
try your hardest just to be a loser
the world will still be turning when youre gone...
YEAH WHEN YOU'RE GONE!!!
god luck and good speed ozzie you inspire me to clean up my act a bit and be what i was destined to be.
a former addict.
how am i?
crazy!!
