Some health issues: update
I'm not a superstitious person and don't believe in streaks of bad luck and the like, but apparently it was a coincidence that this whole summer has been kind of tough. Literally a few days after writing the last journal, my family's garden plot was flooded (more than half of the harvest was saved, but still), which resulted in new worries and expenses. At the same time, after recovery, my weakness and fatigue didn't go away (I've been suffering from this for much longer, in fact).
As a result, I underwent additional examinations for all my current chronic diseases, was convinced of remission, did not find anything new, and then my former teacher drew attention to my tachycardia, which I have ignored all my life. So after a bunch of expensive tests and examinations, I got to a cardiologist and found out that I have two heart defects at once (one of them is a consequence solely of my student stupidity and stubbornly enduring all my colds on my feet). These problems are not life-threatening at this stage, but they require lifelong monitoring, constant medication, and... overall, of course, I'm upset((
Due to a month and a half of going to hospitals, I completely missed ArtFight and voluntarily left Redwall Culinary Zine - simply because I did not have the time and energy for it.
Nevertheless, I hope that the therapy I started at the end of July will bear fruit and I will be able to FINALLY work normally, because drawing allows me to escape better than anything else. And now I'll finally have the energy for it (I hope so!)
So, yeah, things aren't so great, but I can handle it. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! I really want to finish all the current comms as soon as possible and present you with my new ideas for the autumn YCHs ^^

I know you miss the arting but I know I want you around longer than not.
Recovery is always slow, so here's hoping the therapy continues to help? But losing half your garden is a very serious blow!
Here in the US, very few people take their gardens seriously. They're usually fun summer projects, where you flood your friends and neighbors with far too many tomatoes and courgettes. But in your country, it can mean the difference between having a pleasant winter, or going hungry and spending far too much money. Especially if you lose the potatoes or cabbages!
So I hope you have enough to make it until next year without too much trouble.
Hope you recover soon!
Sorry to hear about the farm as well. That must've been heartbreaking and deeply frustrating!
in personal passion projects and in commercial customer commitments,
but I am very happy that you are shifting towards a mode of living
that's kinder to yourself, and more mindful of your long-term wellness.
It is very good of your to find the time to give this update to your audience and colleagues here,
and I'm wishing you a timely stabilization in body and soul, and that you'll be there
for the next year's Art Fight, as well as building up Hasenland!
You have always been a shining star of artistic integrity and inventive courage,
and your continued freedom to create without overtaxing yourself
is a boon and blessing for this entire community.
Get well and stay well! You are loved and cherished.
*hugs*
