IRL? Absolutely. I feel you there, and I think a lot of people would agree. I hope some opportunities to connect with people both local and online come about as having community right now is such a needed boon. Of course do be careful when doing so and be sure to take care of yourself! ^w^

Real struggle of mine, IRL or online :/

It's actually insane. I used to have little to no issues both online and offline but now I feel like I just can't connect with people the same, or I'm putting all of the effort in and they aren't you know?

Same with me, no matter how much effort you put in it feels like you get nothing back :(

That is partially because I’ve only started trying semi-recently, but it’s hard to want to socially engage with anyone when I don’t have a reason to. I put a lot of energy into it and I’ve gotten one person to regularly talk to. I still don’t bother interacting with anyone else.

* I’m not as shy in person, but I also wouldn’t go much below surface level conversation.
** I’ll rarely initiate a conversation, but I’ll usually respond to something (both online and irl)

Yeah, I am right there with you. I put in a lot of effort but it never feels returned. Shit sucks. I feel myself becoming more and more anti social as time goes on.
