It was this terrible storm when she got out and I had no idea what happened to her. After a few weeks of searching and knocking on doors I just kinda start to assume that “she’s not coming back- someone took her home or she’s dead it’s time to move on” but I never could stop hoping, I would ‘hear’ her meow and go check the door and realize it was just my wishful thinking.. months go by and I’m still holding out that she’s just going to magically show up.. that she’s gonna cross my path on a walk through the neighborhood but that was never going to happen.. BECAUSE SHE WENT TO WORK WITH MY HUSBAND
This absolute STINKER got out in the storm, jumped on the back of my husbands work truck, and went to the fucking lab and jumped out without him ever knowing she was there and she’s just been at his work this whole time!!! He saw her today and was like excuse me?? MISTY???? trapped her like a freaking raccoon and brought her home ;3;

When I tell you I almost hit the fucking ground I almost lost it. I can’t describe to you the feeling of relief, love, confusion, and just total fucking awe. Knees were WEAK.
My cat is okay, my cat is alive, no one kidnapped her, nothing killed her.. she just went to work for the summer :’)

I had to share this story honestly I didn’t feel very good for those months without her, I have an active imagination and it was really working against me.. just imagining my sweetest girl in any sort of discomfort was ripping me apart.. but she’s home now and I’m finally okay again ;-; dramatic sure, but it’s pretty dramatic for my cat to get in a fucking VEHICLE AND DRIVE AWAY LIKE OKAY JUST LEAVE ME HERE NO NOTE NO NOTHING HOPE YOU GOT A GOOD SALARY
