6 months has passed since my phone number was randomly banned from telegam. Despite emailing multiple points of contact for telegram, I never heard anything back from them. it seemed to be a lost cause.

But my husband found a reddit thread that mentioned they reset all of their banned numbers after 6 months. So this patient snep waited to see if this is true. Lo and behold he was correct.

so the good news is my phone number is able to be used again and I have telegram once more.

the bad news is my old account was completely deleted. i have to start over again building up my contacts and joining artist channels. But hey, at least my sticker pack survived!

Going forward I am going to take my time joining groups and adding contacts. I do not want to accidentally "spam groups" or something and get banned again. so if you want to be friends on Telegram again please feel free to come find me! just tell me who you are from FA please so i know who i am chatting with
