Regarding the short story in the work I posted previously

Regarding the terrible ending of a short story in a previously posted work.

In reality, I was planning to end it once the kaiju had left the city.
However, I personally thought it was a bit strange to leave the kaiju as a villain, so I ended up with a terrible ending without much thought.
I did something very stupid.
I have now edited (deleted) the relevant part,
but I apologize to anyone who read it before the edit and was offended.
I will try my best to avoid this kind of outcome in the future.
