Depends on the country and what you value in a car in addition to space. Do you also value fuel efficiency? Reliability? What's your budget after selling the Challenger?
I’m looking at used suvs. So I’m keeping my budget under 28k. Gas mileage is a plus, but where I live, I need something with a little lift and able to handle a little off-roading. (I live in the sticks and the dirt roads out here aren’t always very well managed). It will also need to be able to at least pull a small to midsize trailer. With all this, I know gas mileage goes down.
Check out a used Toyota Forerunners, though the only ones under 30k are 10+ years old, though Toyotas are built to last.
Mazda has some decent suvs, they have 4 wheel drive. The cx-30 or cx-5 are worth checking out
Look into subarus as well! Hope this helps
Anything made by Stellantis is likely not a good choice, the severe reduction in quality and increasing engineering issues doesn't make for a very dependable vehicle. Toyota or Honda aren't terrible, but I can't say they're designed with power in mind. Nissan has collapsed in terms of quality, making cheap plastic garbage for the last 15 years.
Vw's are decent across the spread, but if something goes wrong... well, over-engineered has its cost. Acura and Lexus are fairly solid for most models as far as I kow. Not sure about Buick (pretty much any GM), they look really nice but unsure about power and dependablity as of late.
Pretty much betting on a Ford. Which leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, but if you want something middling across the board (power, cost, reliability, fuel econ to a lesser extent) than I can't really recommend much else.
For most people, a Rav4 will do the trick. CR-V is also a great option. If you need a bit more grunt, each of those manufacturers (Toyota and Honda) have bigger vehicles with V6 engines in them you can go for instead. If you want luxury, nothing beats an Acura MDX.
