The problem with age verification isn't the actual age verification for the vast majority of people.
It's the privacy aspect of having to send your ID to a often private entity that is allowed to store your data and, which have been breached before and that said personal data was then stolen.

No one really gives a shit if lil' Timmy can't watch porn anymore, just that people don't trust those companies to keep their data safe.
