Folks the community standard for commissions is and always will be PayPal. If you ask for another payment method, I'm going to assume you're a minor and block you.
Not entirely sure how you arrived at the correlation of "not paypal = minor." Paypal has a long-standing history of seizing money from artists based on unfounded rogue reporting, extensive ethical and legal transgressions, significantly higher than industry average merchant fees, strong-arm business tactics, the list goes on and on. Beyond that, PayPal does not operate in many countries, leaving a not-insignificant portion of the fandom forced into alternatives.
Not to mention that with the recent forced revocation of use on the Steam platform, many people are actively moving away from Paypal as a show of solidarity, and the outcry from the Honey scandal illegally stealing revenue from content creators is still carrying weight as well.
There's a whole host of reasons not to use Paypal in this day and age, and "being a minor" probably doesn't even make that list. I've also had my current PayPal account since I was 15 back in late 1999, so it's just a completely unfounded notion... :(

I don't agree with the recent payment bullshit either, but this is still the method that is most accessible to most people.
