Question About Removing Content in Relation to R34
3 months ago
General
I really need to get back into doing collabs jesus H christ. Hey guys, it's been a while, a long while. I've been having a bit of a pickle. With a site known as R34, they, love, to tag pics of my characters and sonas as a futa. I don't like that. I, in fact, hate, that word. A lot. Yet, I'm not allowed to remove any of those tags, no matter how much I try. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do? Because I'm kind of getting sick and tired of people referring to representations of myself, with such an awful word. Thanks for any advice.

What the difference?
It's a word used by shit heads to erase actual groups of people and turn them into porn. R34 famously, tried to erase all terms of Trans etc from its site sometime last year or early this year and replace every form of it with 'futa'. It's dehumanising and it's erasure.
the rule34 tagging system is a bit more geared towards the end user than the actual artists, and because for quite a lot of people "woman with dick = futanari" they probably won't let you remove that tag. i say probably because idk what the actual rules are.
that being said, just contact the rule34 staff at staff[at]booru.org and describe the issue you're having. even if you can't get the tags issue resolved maybe they can probably remove all of the art with your ocs from the site if you just say you do not wish to have your characters on there
that being said, i never had the pleasure of contacting r34 staff, nor have i ever been on the site for like 4 years atp - so ymmv. for all i know they might just ghost you.
good luck anyhow
