It depends on where you live, but i personally love to do some hiking on my birthday. It is in my opinion a super rewarding feeling when you reach for a high spot where you can take pictures of the landscape and sharing them later !

There is a new place I wanted to explore. So maybe I will take the chance to do so. I'll definitely request that day off, though.

Then go ahead, enjoy the nature and the quiet environment, take some nice pictures and most importantly, enjoy yourself :D

Usually just go out and treat myself. Get something a bit nice to eat. Maybe go to the park. Sorta just treat it like "My personal holiday." No chores or labors that don't absolutely 100% have to be done if at all possible, just a personal treatment, almost like a vacation. It's modest but at the same time in this day and age kinda luxurious in it's own right.

You are not wrong about that. I might do something to that effect.

well, you do have to consider what the next day will be like. Sitting in one place for hours will lead to a not-so-great day afterwards- though, if you think it'll be worth it, it's worth it. I just prefer going out with friends physically because it's easier to control over-exposure that way

I usually make sure to get up and walk around too. I might do a bday dinner with a couple peeps too
