I once had an idea of adopts that were like a symbiote, a humanoid (human/anthro/etc) character with an insect creature latched onto them like a backpack. Legs would wrap around the humanoid's body while other parts of the insect would stick out, such as wings, tail (like a scorpion tail), abdomen (like a spider abdomen), etc.

I’ll think about creating something like that, thanks a lot for the idea!
