I'd keep it in, its nice to have an idea of how long something is, especially as a very slow reader but its not the biggest deal at all.

For some people it probably doesn't matter, for others, I imagine it matters alot more.
Its not something that requires any effort to put in, so I'd err on leaving it yeah :]

Honestly I'm leaning towards removing it rn; I also did a poll about this on my community server, and 15 people said they don't use the word counts, while nobody said they do use the word counts. I'd like to keep my descriptions a lot shorter and tighter, so unless I hear at least a few more people would prefer I keep the word counts, there's a pretty good chance I'll remove them

Do you tend to actually check the word count of the story before you read it to know if you'll want to read it then? Or is it more like, you'll just scroll and see how long it is by just looking at the contents themself?

Noted, you're the first person to say they actually use the word counts honestly. If I were to remove them, would that be a big issue for you?

If I do remove the word counts, I'll also likely make some folders for long stories, medium, and short stories, so you can still easily find what you're looking for - probably would be like, folders titled:

"Short Stories (0k-3k)
"Medium Stories" (3k-6k)
"Long Stories" (6k+)
"Epics" (10k+)
