Same here, such a shock, and a sad loss for the fandom.

I like to agree with the Vulcan philosophy that to fear death is illogical as death is inevitable. It's been so hard watching m family and friends all pass on, all the while my own body ages and gets more and more riddled with health issues. I like to believe an old Native American philosophy too, we didn't want to be born, we were quite content in the womb, it was a dark place full of fluid but we were safe there, fed, and cared for. Death is but birth into what follows this life, so it should be embraced, not feared.

Yes, but that too is the the way of life. Everyone with a birthday has a death date too. I've had conversations with friends where I've asked them "What is a good age to die at?" No one ever has an answer. Regardless, nothing can change the inevitable. My family are all dead, many friends have passed on too. I'm just biding my time until I too am called to the Undiscovered Country.

I remember there being some heart issues before, but didn't get the impression that it had worsen since then.

He did have a couple of minor heart attacks before in years past from what I was told, but this one was massive and took his life. His page on Wikifur.com has the story as told by his nephew James who posted it on Brad Hound's X/Twitter page (which was protected).

I have known Bradhound for many years.. so sad to hear of his passing..
