A silly journal about favorite count on FA.

So first I wanna start off by saying, the amount of favorites an image gets is ultimately pointless. I don't get money from it obviously, so it is objectively pointless.
That said it is a neat thing to go into my stats and see what the most favorited images are as a curiosity more than anything.
Some of the most favorited images of mine are things that are expected. Either they are a character from a popular franchise, or the character themselves is popular.
My top 5 favorited images are:

The Ophira gif is the one that stands out, but animations do seem to garner more attention. But the other 4 are fairly well known characters so it stands to reason why they would get so much attention.
What fascinates me is when I keep going through the list arranged by favorite count and get into very unexpected stuff.

She is from a fairly well known game, Hollow Knight, but she certainly isn't the usual character you find people looking for. She's not Hornet or even Iselda after all.

Yes the Parasol Beauty is from a well known series, Kingdom Hearts, but Liddell is from a random rhythm game called Pop'n Music. So it's interesting to see this image be so well liked. It is an image I have considered redrawing at some point since there are a lot of issues I have with it.

A decidedly simple image of Ophira, but still got quite a bit of love.

A TEN year old image, and it still holds up well. I didn't really think Carrie was a character that people looked for, but it seems otherwise.
One other reason I bring this up is I have drawn a particular character many times, and I am surprised by how much attention the images have been getting lately:

I expect people to like Ragitha, Pomni and Jax, so to see people enjoy art of, well the only character I like from Digital Circus it's nice.
Now if only more people would draw Zooble. >_>

One thing I want to add from your Zooble posts is that they are a non-binary character. Great art though, and no complaints about the various hyper body parts added in the different art pieces, of course. If anything you're leaning into the non-binary theme that way! Zooble goes by they/them no matter what hyper body parts are used.
