• I Saw The TV Glow - existential horror for closeted transbians (desperate undeniable younger sister edition)
• I'm Thinking Of Ending Things - existential horror for closeted transbians (hopeless subtextual older sister edition (the films are sisters to me))
• Redline - no notes, no notes are required
• thats the three i can confidently declare as my favorites i hacent seeen enough films. sorry
additional candidates:
- Sedmikrásky / Daisies - i need to give this one a rewatch firzt because it was streamed to me in discord and i was kinda drifting in and out of life but like what i could latch onto was lile a pretty good movi3. haunting haunting haunting gutwrenching ending, which is like the best type of ending to me (see first two entries and the below entry)
- Beau Is Afraid - I finished this one literally under an hour ago and i need more time to sit on it but its like structurally and tonally the perfect movie for me with no hyperbole present in that statment
- The Wall - sort of like a prototype of a specific kind of movie i like a lot rather than a full fledged entry into that pantheon for me. i dont think it has any shot of axtually making it into my fsvorit3s actially
- The Fantastic Mr. Fox - i didnt actually like this movie that much in my first watch as an adult 2 months ago and that feels sad to me because it's like visually perfect and it has the little autistic boy with egg vibes whos like literslly me and the goody perfectshoes cousin(?) kid i had a massive crush on when i was like ? years old that i difnt undrrstand what was happening ot why which were feelings i had only previously experienced for the rat from chsrleyoes web. Teppleton
- The Last Man On Earth - i think i love this movie from what i remember, i love the way vinvent price bisexually sits on the table at some point, i love the way his vampirified coworker guy or whoever moana out his name like Morgannnnn we're going to kill you morgannnn, i love the ending, it's a good movie, it's pretty good. i think im forgetting like approximately 5 hours of boring shit which was like manditory for every movie made before probably 1970
- true stories - david byrnes genuine glee at the coming of the world we live in today is endlessly fascinating to me
- i xant think if any more movies but maybe i will come back and edit more later. What movies shoild i watch also
- CREEP HOLY SHIT HOW DID I FORGET CREEP
