We found a stray kitten who is completely healthy that I am going to rehome to my friend in another state, and I’m excited to see my friend and to get this cat a nice home :3 also a bsky artfuck game is going to start soon and I’m really looking forward to participating.

Ive gotten ridiculously into Arcane recently and i was having kind of a cruddy day today but I found the giant Arcane art book at the mall while forcing myself to go outside and im overjoyed about it! I absolutely love collecting art books and there's so much content! If you somehow haven't watched the show I recommend it!

My current extreme hyperfixation is the umamusume: pretty derby game. I’ve managed to write more for it than anything else in a long time (currently at ~9k words total for a multi chapter fic) and also got a second URA finale win with the same character today. ;w;

one of my neighbors put a great office chair out on the curb and i snatched it up before anyone else could (ﾉ*ФωФ)ﾉ it's so sturdy and much comfier than my old one! i no longer dread sitting at my workspace for ages so i'm finally getting a ton of personal art done :3
i'm also finally saying goodbye to windows and switching to linux, but that comes with a thread of anxiety as all big changes do (•_•) hopefully it works out and i won't have to deal with endless bloatware and ads in my start menu anymore!

and if your PC is capable of it you can always dual-boot it so you can flip, with linux as your main and windows on backup in case a steam game doesnt have compatibility for some reason

I'm still super baby when it comes to linux and really only have experience running scripts in a vm and making physics/behaviors and arrays in GD scripts and a single C# course but as a beginner I like these resources

My health has improved a lot lately and I've been spending more time cleaning my home then I have been able to previously, which makes me feel like I can decorate my space more. It's been so lovely to be in a space that feels like its mine.

I got sterilized after a long road of doctors refusing it, and had a realization about my health and mental health while at the hospital, so I've started going out more to walk, and eating better with way more vegetables! :) ♥

hell yeah congrats on all the great news!! sincerely just resting well, eating proper and going on small walks does soooo fucking much on mood and health, disposition too like i've noticed that if i don't eat well i legit won't work properly. its like going on a walk won't cure depression but staying everyday at home will only make it worse AND going on a walk might make you see a snail outside which is like, awesome

My small, mundane thing was that I got to visit my second mother to pick berries from her garden, and I sat down and made several kilograms of jam, jellies, and juice all by myself! I feel so proud for a thing that's so simple, but so rewarding.

estrogen injections, making big progress re-teaching myself art, a lot of private health concerns have been clearing up, my diet shifted dramatically to include more veggies in general and I havent gone a day this last week and a half without exercising. I'm in better overall health over 30 than I was in my early 20s. My cats have been happier, my partners have been happier, and despite everything going on in the world I feel like we did a good job cutting a teensy community out for ourselves

the most exciting thing thats happened to me this summer is that my gf moved across the country, so now she's only a 3 hour drive away(going to grad school) instead of ummmm, 18 hours of flying/travel. its such a relief, and shes in an area that i can travel to pretty frequently without it being a big deal or super expensive. i also got my license for the first time, i just turned 35 and im finally free of my fear of driving !!! its such a huge quality of life upgrade just to be able to do my own errands without asking for help

i cant really ever afford clothing, and all i've always had is hand me downs
today i went to a store and asked for help and the store lady helped me pick a dress that actually looks kinda cute on me (something very rare!) and i think i like it a lot!
it made my day and actually made me feel a bit better about how i look, even if i have to wait for summer to wear it X3
